The Body Shop Extra Virgin Minerals Liquid Foundation Review

Does it ever happen to to you that you like something at first but then you’re like totally mehh.. about it? Honestly speaking, in my case it is totally rare. I either love a product or I hate it – like I mean my first impressions are usually the last impressions but with The Body Shop’s Extra Virgin Liquid Foundation it has been quiet different.

First off, the formula is quiet thick and not runny AT ALL. Like it remains where you’ve put it which makes it a good coverage foundation. Secondly, it gives skin a very healthy glow and despite it has Olive Oil in it, it did not break me out nor made my skin oily. Thirdly, the packaging is really good. It comes with a pumping glass bottle – my favorite. It does not settle into pores and blends effortlessly.

But, it smells absolutely disgusting – I can not describe what it smells like but trust me on this, it does not smell pleasant in any way. The thing I dislike the most about it is, I can not mix it with my other foundation. Yes! It separates just like oil would if you try mixing it with any other consistency. Now, being someone who always likes to mix up foundations I can not stand it, and this is probably the reason this is my least favorite foundation of all I own. Moreover, since the shade I got is too yellow for my skin tone, I hate the fact I can not fix it! (202)

It feels so HEAVY that I absolutely hate wearing it unless it’s my last option. I wore it 2-3 times, just for review purposes. I don’t know despite all the good stuff, I can not seem to like this foundation very much, at first I felt I like I do, but now I know I don’t!

If you're looking for a medium coverage, dewy foundation then this might be your drill. Otherwise NO!

Would I recommend it? Maybe. Actually No!
