Everyday Makeup for Starters - Drugstore Products

Makeup is something we all love, specially when we're in our teenage years we see all these beautiful women all dolled up and aspire to be like them. But, obviously all of us can not afford many products,  which is why I'm doing doing this post for you girls out these who want to start with makeup but are not sure where begin.
These products are super affordable and easily available.

Skip Foundation and Trust BB Creams

First and foremost step to any makeup is flawless skin for sure. In teenage years a lot of girls tend to break out for which proper care is very important (HERE).
But, till then you do need coverage the reason I stress upon using a BB cream is that:
  • It hides blemishes without making you look cakey
  • Contains SPF
  • Contains Moisturizer
  • Easy Application
  • Perfect for Everyday Usage
Choose whatever suits your skin and doesn't break you out, some drugstore options are:
Colorstudio Professionals BB Cream
Garnier Miracle Skin Perfecter
Maybelline BB Cream
Ponds White Beauty BB+

I have also done a small POST on BB Creams, do check it out, as it may help you decide.

Invest in a GOOD Concealer

Let's face it, we all get those hideous dark circles while those night study marathons. The best and quickest way to hide them is a good concealer. Apply it under your eye in a triangle shape and blend it all away using the warmth of your fingers.

Some drugstore options are:
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Rimmal Wake Me Up Concealer
Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer

Now, I do realize these might not be cheapest ones available, but trust me you guys do not spend on copies as you might get them for a lesser price but they sure are harmful for your skin.

Showcase Those Lashes

Easiest way to make your eyes prominent is using a mascara. It helps open your eyes and is easiest way to glam up that girl next door look.

Some drugstore options are:
Rimmel Sexy Curve Mascara
Essence Big Lashes Volume Boost (find review HERE)
Maybelline Colossal Volume Express

Cream Blushes are Your Best Friend

To keep that youthful glow on to your skin, opt for cream blushes. They last longer and mix beautifully with the skin. Best of all they're super easy to blend with fingers.

Some drugstore options are:
NYX Stick Blush (find review HERE)
MUA Blush Perfection Cream Blusher
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush

Stain and Plump Up Those Lips

Now, let's say some 2 years back my first makeup product was a lip and cheek stain and I can not tell you guys the moment I got it, I fell in love with it. From that time onwards I kept re buying it. It gives the most natural flush of color and freshens up the whole look.
Use a lip balm on simply add a lip gloss to put the whole look together.
Recommendations:
The Body Shop Lip and Cheek Stain (find review HERE)
I also have a DIY, don't forget to check that out as well.
Maybelline Baby Lips
NYX Butter Gloss
Essence Shine Lip Gloss

I hope this proves to be helpful for all those new makeup lovers out there. Welcome to the Family Pretties <3

Love You All <3
